I just heard an article on Yahoo news that a 60 year old mother had twins. Her husband is 63.. How do you feel about this? Do you think they're too old? Do you think it's fair to the two little boys? Are they selfish? I personally think that 60 years old is a bit too old to became new parents, but I guess it depends on the individuals energy. I don't know, I still think they're just too old to start over again. What do you think?

i think they are too old also. i mean those boys are probably going to live AT LEAST half their lives without their parents. if not 3/4 of their lives. then where do they go? i cant remember now if this was their first kids or not?? besides which..a big part of a kids growing years are spending time being active with parents. they wont be able to do that for much longer! i just feel that due to their age, the children will be deprived of them far sooner then they should be.

The couple have a 32 year old son and a 29 year old daughter and they were not on board with their parent's decision of becoming parents again. I just can't imagine having these boys grow up without their parents for such a big and important part of their lives. My husband is 40 years old, and we just had our first baby, and I think he's up in age, and it'll be hard(er) for him to be as involved in our kids lives as he wants or may want to be. I'm worried that my oldest will be 20 when my dh is 60 and that just worries me...

so pretty much the parents have commited their first children to raising their most recent set of children. that doesnt seem fair at all.

Oh and I forgot to mention that they also have a 6 year old child. I guess they have committed their older children to take care of the younger ones. I hope it all works out for them .
