By this I mean you need to investigate a little and do you homework. You need to be asking questions beyond the obvious "has it paid?". More important are these factors:1) How long has it been around? A long-lived program more than likely has a good reputation for earning money for its members, whereas a new program may disappear tomorrow. This question should be your first, especially if there is any kind of investment involved. 2) Has anyone ever complained about the program? You can find this out simply by doing a Google search like this: "company name":scam If there have even been rumors of problems, this search will show you the results and enable you to make a more educated decision. 3) What kind of training and support are provided? This is an important aspect to consider. Even the most seasoned marketer needs to know company specific procedures, such as what kinds of advertising is allowed, and what types of training is available. Many companies provide training for free, but still others will charge you for additional training. You need to know these things in order to decide if this is for you. 4) Does the company show full contact information on their web page? I don't know about you, but unless I know how to contact not only the persons promoting a web page for a program, but the person in charge, I am a little skeptical as to the validity of the program. 5) The last thing you need to check is the compensation plan. What payment types are available? Are they International or country specific? When are payouts? What, if any, is the minimum amount needed to reach payout? Are there any minimum purchases or referrals required to be considered qualified? You need to know these things, too. As you can see, there are other things to consider besides whether someone says they have been paid and can provide proof. But, if you follow these guidelines, you will better be able to decide if any program is right for YOU.

Sad enough, I once didnt do my homework and registered on 500c-500d. Thank God, myLotters warned me about it, when I posted the link here. Now, I always look for the answer of the questions you posted, BP. A lot of sites have been recommended to me so I now try to find out more about them, before even registering. Thanks for the discussions, it keeps our friends alert. ^^

BP, It is good that you are educating people. I always feel if you come to know of something that would save time, money and efforts by others, you must share that information. You have brought some useful information and this is good for people at MyLot because many people here are new to the Online Earning Programmes and there are plenty of scam programmes on the Internet. If one knows about them, one can take precaution.
