why i get so few responses?

hi Luckywuyan. I will try to help you. I think to get more responses on myLot you need to add more interests, and add friends who share similar interests. Then your friends will join in your discussions more. When you post a new subject try and post it in the category that it is related to and make sure you add the tags to your discussions. This way, it will be easier for people to find. Also try to join in your friends discussions, or other discussions that you find interesting, and add friends along the way. I hope this will help you out a bit, if you try doing this I am sure that you will get more responses. Good luck and best wishes. :)

I noticed that as I started getting more friends and added more interests like others have said, my responses and ratings have gotten better. I also noticed that posts that are more specific to one niche area don't get a lot of responses because there are limited number of people on myLot. I enjoy the Rocky Horror Picture Show but less then a 100 here on myLot have it as an interest. If they don't come on line when I would post about the movie, it may get moved out of view of most before they get the chance to post. If I post about food or recipes I may get more responses because more people enjoy or relate to that. Just don't take it bad and keep on posting.

LOL! you are not unlucky believe me you are just doing fine. Back when i was starting in mylot all of my discussions received zero response thats because im fairly new and people here in mylot don't know me by then i added more friends and more interests and as i gained more friends my reputation became good and as you get to participate more in discussions of your friends they will appreciate it so they answer your discussion also. Mylot community is friendly and enjoyable so don't worry just keep mylotting.Cheers!LOL!

I have had that happen too. I think it is partly the time of day you enter a question. I have also seen it when my question is very specific. A more general question entered at the right time of day is crucial if you are looking for a broad range of answers. Right now I woke up a little early and can't go back to sleep or else I would never have seen your question.

don t worry in time will recive many answers but you now i don t like hard question so try to put some question easy to give an answer. maybe when you go to my lot is few people there so try to see when everybody go there.are so many country and so many hours. depend also about what you ask because if is something not intersting yes you can t get answer. don t worry and good luck

with so many people posting discussions it ias really hard to gdet noticed. One thing that is vital is that you have an extensive and active friends network. You will also find you will get more responses the more people see discussions from you on the site. Dont give up, just keep on posting blessed be

Well I think we have gone through this at one time or another on mylot.LOL And still it happens to me. Alot of the members are not just staying on mylot they go to other sites. And also alot of the members work or have other engagements. So dont get frustated. Or it could be you discussions just dont interest them. We all have different interests in life. So hang in there Im sure you will okay. You must have patience.

Because you are LUCKYWUYAN. Need not to worry on this matter. Keep posting new topics. You will also receive more responses as others. You are junior here. Needs to learn a lot. You should make more friends and send them message that you have started a new discussion and make response. You will receive lot of responses.

I had a quick peek at your profile before answering your discussion and I see you only have 21 friends. Try and gain more friends by looking at people's profiles and seeing if they share any interests with you. If they do, request them as a friend. The more friends you have the more chance of getting better and more responses. It takes a little bit of time sometimes in Mylot to have people start answering your discussions. Once you've been around for a little while and people start seeing your name more often, then your responses will start to pick up. Thats how it happened with me.

Well, I don't know if I can offer any great advice, I've only had a handful of discussions that have done ok. I don't know whether it's because people have seen similar discussions or not that decides if they do or don't answer, but I think you do need to keep posting. I always think that even if I only get a couple of answers, at least a couple of people are taking notice. Just don't get too discouraged! At least with only a handful of responses, it's easier to reply to them!

me too,I have the same feeling with you!I have many discussions that receive no response or very few responses.I think maybe our topics are too odd or unattractive that no one want to respond it.so what we can do is just trying our hard to make some interesting discussions.

Dont feel bad, its normal. But i understand how you feel because i feel the same way you have when i first join mylot. But then, it challenge me to think more relevant and exciting discussions which will catch every mylotters to respond it. Just keep thinking and have fun here. Besides what so many people have said here, I think it is very important to chose a subject/ topic. I did a mistake of posting technical problem I am facing on the Internet and even after several months, not a single response has come. But if you ask which Internet Explorer is good, you could be flooded with the responses. Also, people care about their "myLot reputation" and most of them would not like to get involved with the topics or responses that may have or may turn out to have a controversy.

Don't worry about this condition.I never worried or frustated with this condition,I just post more than before and give good opinion in each post.If you make a discussion, just choose an interesting tittle and unique discussions.be different..!
