They are: Denial Is when the patient or person is struggling to accept that they are dying. Anger Anger is usually at knowing they are about to lose everything, their family, their home, their friends, work, and play, their pets.. It is important to not return this anger to a person who is dying, and to do your best at being understanding. Bargaining This is when the patient tries to make compromises, with G-d, Spirit of the Powers at be, or deals.. Like doing a good behavior, or doing something to either prolong the life, or lessen the pain. If an individual reveals this to you, do not shrug it off, treat it with seriousness and respect... Usually this stage passes in a short time. Depression This comes in two forms.. on as a response to losing job, health at the cost of the illness... and the other form is preparation to pass on... dealing and coping with the loss of life, family, and loved ones.... In this state attempts to cheer up or reassure an individual may or may not help. It is important to allow them to express grief, and sorrow fully without holding back. I wrote this up off of tiny tidbit notes I had written down, from either Psychology or Values Death and Dying class in Highschool. - DNatureofDTrain

Thank you, the Fifth Stage of dying is Acceptance. The Patient is neither angry nor depressed.. News of the outside world means little, few visitors are required.. and there is little to no talk and it is merely time.. as the patience is infact ready to go. - DNatureofDTrain
