have you ever felt so stressed, so busy, so preoccupied with your problems and duties in life that sometimes, you just want to say "okay, i need a break right now!" have you ever felt that? me, i have. many times.. lolz. :) sometimes, i just want to run away from everything and just go to some private or exotic beach resort where i can relax and just breathe easily. :)

As my children get older and more defiant i feel this way more often then i used to. There are many days where is wish i could go somewhere by myself all alone for a day and night i think when i would return the next day i would be ready for anything. I would definitly have to go some where with a hot tub. I have only ever been in one once, it was the most relaxing feeling i had ever had and that night i was out like a light until late morning the next day.

aww.. guess it must be sad when children grow up, huh? my mom is also like you in a way, because she keeps telling me not to grow up too fast and i am really touched by those words of hers. :( well, back to the topic, yeah, a soak in the tub pretty much relieves us of our stress temporarily. :) especially if its with aromatic candles? wow, the effect is so amazing to me. :)

When I start to feel that way I usually end up getting the flu or a cold, maybe it's a way for my body to get the break that I need. Alot of the time, I am so busy in life that I don't know if I am coming or going. When you feel like that you can still take a mini break. Even if it is just soaking in the tub or going for a walk. I try to do this often, even when I'm busy, it helps to keep me sane and refreshes me.

hey yeah, guess what? i do that mini breaks too! you see, i have read that in an article on a magazine that even though we cant really go around to travel and relax right away, we can always have a mini break by, like what you said, indulging ourselves in the little pleasures of life. :)

Yes, I am feeling that way with work. I started a new job in Jan and I work with 5 other ladies and they are just so rude. I get so stressed, I keep telling myself I need to look for another job. I have never had people rude to me like here. But then again, I keep telling myself to give it time. I hope you can get some stress relief for yourself. maybe this weekend with the holiday. I know I can't wait until 4 today and I am outta here for 3 days. Yippee...

I totally feel that way. Between work and my personal/marriage problems I would love to just take off. What stops me from doing this? My daughters. I will always be there for them so this solution will never really work for me. cheers,

you know what golfproo, you are really like my mom. sometimes, my mom just gets so stressed and tired that she wants to take a vacation and go abroad or something but she just can afford to leave us behind because she says that she will miss us a lot. :P i love my mom so much.

Yes!!!! Right now!!!!! I have a stinking throat chest and ear infection, my daughter is also poorly. my brother has just been in hospital and I just got dumped by some ***hole who told me he finished with me because he assumed I was seeing someone else which he knows is not true it was just easier for him to finish with me and if his blatant lies make him feel better ten I hope they catch up with him and bite him really hard on the bottom! Take me away to an island with no worries, pleeeeease!!!!!!! lol

i find golf relaxing. I dunno why but it relaxes me. this is the main reason i play golf. i tried beach time or going to the spa but none have a lasting effect. golf on the other hand, take a few hours to complete. then come home to the family all recharged with good calming mojo. ; )

I feel that way quite often. I imagine most everyone likes to get away from it all from time to time.
