Its because, by the time when firefox runs for more than 3 hours, it would have already consumed lot of memory of your system. Open Task Manager and check the memory consumed by Firefox, it will be very high. Quick Solution is just to restart Firefox . Also try some free RAM defragmenting software such as Cacheman etc.... Let me know if this helps.

This is may be because of your internet speed check your internet speed if that was not the case then empty all the junk files of your browser i think this is the way by which you can speed up your firefox browser but i can say you that you better use opera browser this is the fastest browser in the world right now.

I try to reload firefox daily, atleast, If you have a machine with less than a gigabyte of memory I would recommend hourly. Firefox likes to cache alot of stuff in memory, and can easily take over 200 megs after an hour (or less). Windows, if you use it, will hog over 500 megs at times so it can also be a combination, and in which case would also recommend rebooting. The best solution is just to move to linux. :) Much smaller memory footprint, and supports firefox, opera, etc.

Hi, that is really one of the bug of firefox. It slows down when there are lots of tabs that are opened. That is why I decided to switch from mozilla to opera, though I am still using mozilla if needed. I like the overall speed performance of opera browser. Have a nice day and God speed!
