I usually do that when I was a student. When I saw some of my previous professors at this point of time, I still get there attention and greet them obediently. I feel happy when I see them around. They are one the people who teahes us alot of good things in life. I'm really thankful for them because they help us grow well.

If you mean saying "Hi", "Hello", "Good morning", or something like that as a greeting, then I do not do that. I often meet or pass by my teachers, and give them a smile, and then simply ask how they are doing. I do not follow much convention. Sometimes, on meeting a teacher after a very long time, I touch my teacher's feet. That is another way of showing respect to an elder in India.

Yeah jogie_bien, I always greet teachers that i knew who taught me during my formative years at school or elsewhere. Though there may be some teachers whom i don't remember or who don't remember me as it has been long while. But being a good student one who was in good book of most teachers i got along well with my teachers and would certainly wish them and seek their blessings if i had a good personal equation with them. cheers:)

Whenever I see my teather I sure will greet him as it's a manners and also a good social behaviour to do so. Last month I met my middle school teacher when my hubby and I were eating in a restaurant. After greeting her we then had a long chat while enjoying our food at the same table.

Yes I always greet them too. As a student we must show our respect to our teacher, not only by greet them but also by use our knowledge for good so their work to teach us won't never useless. And may be if we greet them we can get more score he.. he..

ya I always greet my teachers.I am from India. In our culture it is taught that teachers are superior than God beacuse they are the person who guide you in path of God. So it is very common that every Indian respects his teacher. Thanks

Usually, only if it's a teacher that I have a good relationship with. If it's a teacher who knows me by name or is someone with whom I have had conversations in the past, then sure. But if not, then I let it go on without saying anything.

I always did, although left school a while ago and I woudl like to think that my daughter would do the same. It is just good manners to do so even if they are not one of your favourite tutors.

Actually, I saw my grade 7 teacher once at The Bay. I was all like, OMG It's Mr. J! Then he was like, JOHN!!! We caused a scene, and I touched the escalator that Richard Gere touched. Yeah, I do great my teachers, I don't see them often though.
