I think most female can answer this..? One of my friend's girlfriend broke up with him the other day. Of course my friend, James, did a lot of things to win her back again. However, there is one time James cried in front of her while he is trying to talk thing out so to solve problems. Okay, i should say my friend is a very emotional guy. His girlfriend told him something like she dislike guy who cry. Guy who cry are useless, insecure and weak. I couldn't remember exactly what she say but something like that. So girls what do you think about guy who cry? Izzit a disadvantage for a guy who is so emotional? Izzit true that girl do not like guy to cry? -_-?

Well, NO I don't have a problem when a man cries. It's ok to cry, everyone cries, at least once in their life. If someone never cried there would definitively be something wrong with that person, but if a man cries all the time, well yea then he's a cry baby lol but it's ok to cry. She should feel good that he cried for her, it takes a lot for some men to cry, specially in front of a woman.

Most men try to appear macho or express their feelings in anger instead of crying. I think when a man cries it shows he has a heart, real feelings, and that he really MEANS what he is saying. Guys can fake and lie their way through stuff, but if he is crying you know he is for real.
My husband doesn't cry very often. I think I can name on one hand, maybe two, the number of times I've seen him cry. I think the first time was when I was in labour for 36 hours. He said, "A woman shouldn't have to go through this!". LOL! He will also cry at the odd movie, and he has cried when I really hurt him. I don't know how badly I have hurt him sometimes because he doesn't show it. So if he cries then I KNOW for sure I have hurt him and know I must do something.
He cried when he put us (wife and children) on an airplane to return home while he stayed behind for a longer holiday with his family. It may have been prompted by me crying, which got the kids crying. Who knows who cried first but he did say he cried all the way out to the parking lot. Silly really, since it was just for a few days.
I would hate it if he didn't show his feelings and frankly I would rather him cry more often than keep things bottled up inside, or worse, get drunk instead. A man who cries shows that he is human.

Not sure how old your friend is or his girlfriend. BUT I am nearly 40 and I have no problems to see a guy cry. It at least shows they have a heart and that they are willing to share their deepest emotions with us women. I have seen my husband cry once in the 5 years I have been with him and it nearly broke my heart but I felt closer to him as normally he is such a strong dependable guy. He is very sensitive to my needs and goes out of his way to be understanding with me if I am feeling down - I do cry quite easily myself - a lot of it is down to my diabetes and when I feel worn out I do tend to burst into tears at the smallest provocation. My husband is always understanding about it and even though he has only cried in front of me once he knows full well that I would not hold it against him if he broke down again. Men who can cry, in my opinion, are real men. Those that think they can't cry in front of a woman or not cry at all in front of anyone are the ones who end up being cold and hard and have more emotional problems in the long run because they try too hard to be STRONG all of the time. It's not necessary and mature women wouldn't hold it against a guy. I can't speak for other younger women but even when I was much younger I would never think badly of a guy if he cried in front of me. :)

Absolutely no. I always believe that true men does cry, while men who are aren't true to themselves and are major airheads and show off doesn't cry. I admire guys who cry and aren't afraid to show what they really feel inside. Hats off to them. hehe

hmmm... i admire guys who are not ashamed to cry... guys nowadays are very much concerned with their ego and that, i think, isn't good... it's very nice for me to see guys who open up about their feelings co'z that's what makes a tough guy... someone whose not afraid to cry... :D
