Lunch Break at work- what do you do?

i am a stay at home mom that works from home. i dont get a lunch break....lol. i wish i did. i would just sit in peace and quiet and eat my meal without having to yell at someone and tell them to not play with their food..lol.

I don't work through my lunch, although I have in other jobs in the past. I don't see the point in it anymore. Usually, I will go and eat in the backroom. I bring food from home most days, so there's no need for me to go anywhere for food. Sometimes, I'll even go running around here; there's a creek behind our building with a trail. I will just go back there, bring a pair of shorts, and run for my break. If there is something I need to do (i.e. errands) then I will do those.

I normally move in to the production hall after having my lunch to see that alls going well there. I sometimes get books on management issued from the library and go through it during this period and try to grasp all important thing which i can gain from the books.

hi again hannah. ^__^ here at the office we usually eat earlier than our lunchbreak. ^__^;; whenever our boss is out, we would eat early, like 30 minutes before 12nn. in other department they eat early too even if their boss is there because the boss eats with them. when our ow boss is present, we would eat only the moment she calls us to eat (she wants us to eat with her) and that is usually around 12nn. after that, she'll rest until 1pm but we cannot rest while she is resting because she might call us when she needs something. so basically we are restless when she's present. ^__^;; when she's absent though, we can sleep during lunch breaks or play with the computer. ^__^

i am a stay at home mom now, but during the time that i am still working... i eat during breaks and take a nap. i dont work on breaks because that is mine.... lol.

At work, I eat with my lunch buddies at 12nn for about 15-30 minutes depending on our discussions. Then afterwards, I either browse the web, post in mylot, sleep for 30-45 minutes or run errands depending on the schedule. Sometimes, I work over lunch too it i want to leave work early. =)

i will used my lunch break to take lunch of course, then at times i lazed around to make time pass. there were times when i used it to do some officework which is on the rush.
