What is it with men and skirts?

I can't speak for the guys, but they do seem to notice when a girl has on skirt or dress. I think because it is more common to wear slacks that they just notice when they can see legs.

I think there are two things that us guys like so much when it comes to skirts (well...not those go-all-the-way-down-to-the-ankles skirts): 1. Legs, and legs = skin, and guys just can't resist naked woman skin - hence the attraction to cleavage 2. Possibilities - skirts represent way more possibilities than pants do. Pants are so enclosing. Skirts are much more open and ...inviting. :)

Men are very visual creatures and so wearing the skirt helps them immensely to bring up images in their minds. Of course as long as you have a tasteful skirt then the manners to behave fall upon the men. You can do alot to tame their beasts if this bothers you in anyway. There are laws about that to protect us now. I am glad you are getting the attention. It does our egos some good. I hope it stays in a proper manner on the job.

My husband's crazy about pretty legs, so he does like to see me in skirts, the shorter the better. I guess it's a guy thing, coz even my brother likes to see girls in skirts.

A guys eyes will automatically go where movement is and with pants there is no movement like the swing of a skirt or the movement in the slit of a skirt and being guys they like to look at womens legs. My husband on the other hand hates it when I where a skirt. He actually told me he wouldn't shave again if I wore a skirt or dress again! LOL

sounds like a sexist to me, why should he be upset if you where pants.

women generally, look more lady like in skirts. go ahead and wear skirts at all times. you will notice taht if you keep on wearing skirts, the comments will fade but, once you will be wearing pants again, disapprovals sahll come your way.

I think guys like skirts on a woman because it's traditional AND it shows some skin! I think skirts look prettier than pants if they fit right on the person myself. I like to wear long skirts. It's so hard to find nice, ankle length a-line ones which are my favorite. If I had a skirt for every day I would wear them all the time. Guys even seem to appreciate the long ones in my experience.

I think also when you see a good looking guy showing his body you will stare at him:). At least a little bit. So I totally undersatnd men looking at a good looking woman with nice legs in a skirt. It is normal, natural.
