What keeps you coming back? Or, What made you leave?

I have been playing WoW on and off since its release, and picked up BC the day it came out. However, I only have 1 level 70, and never really got into raids that much. I was really a casual player, would log on for a few hours now and then, but could go months at a time without ever logging in. It is certainly a fun game, but I could not quite put the amount of time needed into developing my character and playstyle. So my question to you is this - what keeps you going in the game? Or, if you are like me, what is it that *doesn't* keep you into the game?

In my point of view it is the kind of life you are living that really defines how you are gonna stick to WoW. Yesterday i played for 10 hours straight cause I have nothing to do and i earn money from home from the work at home programs. Stay Cool :D

Repetition of lvling. I also got bored of the game in general. Sure, i"ll get urges to play but you just gotta resist. It's like trying to quit smoking. I have played it for 3 years and it is BORING. Once in a while I will long on a do a battleground with my friend but I get burnt out after 1 hour or more of playing it. Counter-strike Source FTW!

I've had WOW since christmas and my character is only a level 28..I don't even have burning crusade yet, but I love the game! I don't play all that much and when I do play I don't raid, I don't join parties and I'm not in a guild. I like to level up on my own..it's way more fulfilling, even if I am only level 28:)..

I don't find the game THAT much fun to play... I have one character and its a level 70 warlock. The only real reason I play is because my friends do. We go on vent... b*llshit, pvp, run instances. I don't think i'd play if they didnt... The only part of the game that i enjoy is arena.
