Hey yall here is what's up. This is my dream: I want to use my art to help put a major dent in American poverty AND promote Homeless Awareness in America. I want to one day open up an art gallery that will give money to homeless shelters all across the USA. I was homeless as a child and stayed in shelters when my mother and I lived in Louisiana in 1992. So far, my dream is coming true online. I have an online storefront where people can purchase my art in the form of cards and stuff and I also have a weblog, Colors of Ink, serviced by Blogcharm.com which pays me to blog. I am using Colors of Ink to raise money ($1000 is my goal) for The Providence House out of Shreveport, LA. Thanks, Johnna, for showing your art. There are lots of people we can help in so many ways. I have lots of ideas too and I would like to use my paintings for something good. I am involved in networking and it will some day give a good income and make it possible to help to raise money for those who need health care but have low incomes. Blogcharm is an interesting site, maybe it can start giving some income too. Maybe it would be possible to find some solution to build apartments for the homeless and help those who can work, find some kind of income.
