Overdosage of pills!!!!

My friends grandma who is 84 years is a very healthy person without any health problems.But she often complains of leg burning sensation and she takes some pills with doctors advise.Before a week she complained of this problem and hence my friends mom took her to hospital for treatment.Considering her age the doctor had advised to take the pills only for 3 days.After taking the medicine for 2 days she had guidyness and hence family members asked her to stop taking those medicines & request her to visit the doctor again but she never listened to them and continued the medicine after the 3rd day too.The very night she had fits and admitted to the nearby hospital and doctor had confirmed that overdosage of pills resulted to this worst situation and she was unconsious and kept in ventilator.
Family members were really worried as she was very serious.But thank got after 2 days in ventilator she got consicous and recognised everyone.Even now she is in hospital shifted from ICU to general care ward for further treatment.

You are right Suba, pills taken without the advice of Doctor can be sometimes fatal.

Your friends grandma could not take the heavy dose of the painkillers.Pain killers in itself is very bad for health even in young people.One should not take these medicines regularly & not when your halth starts affecting with it.It is good that she became alright.Thank god for that.tell them not to take so many painkillers.

I am sorry. I know what an overdose is like, but I did it on purpose, when I was depressed and I tried to kill myself. I remember everything, and I was admitted to A hospital for A wekk. I remmber the night after I did it, my mom waking me up to go to school, I could not get up, I treid once, hit the wall, and fell back on the bed, and was messed up, then the rest of the day, I could not get up, accept for when I was vomiting, cause it made me sicker than A dog. That day, I went to the doctor and was admitted to the hospital.
