I am now undergoing a training to become a Licensed Financial Planner. Though I plan to have it as a part-time job but I discovered that the potential for making it big is great. I got excited with I was introduced to the different products and services of the company that I will be representing. If everything goes well, I may have to resign from my current job and can spend more time with my kids. I want to know who among here in mylot are financial planners? I would appreciate very much if you could share with me your experiences and what you think of one making it good in such business or am I being too optimistic?

What does you actually do in that job if ever? Is there any requirements to become eligible for the job? I just got curious and I also want to have some insights about it. It seems to be an interesting job. Is there any amount that one needs to give in order to enter into this such kind of thing? Good post by the way.

No amount really. All that I invested is just P250 or about $5 for the materials that I would be using and review for the licensing exam. Being a financial planner means managing and protecting your clients assets. It could be through insurance protection, health protection, bonds and other investments. The idea is to give your clients the kind of protection that they need as far as their assets and wealth are concerned.

Only -Php-250.00? Well, that is low enough. How does this work? I'm quite interested with the job you're trying to have. I want to know the details about it because I also want to earn some money out of my extra time. Though I'm planning to take a review before I take the CPA board exam this October, I want to have another opportunity that will improve my lifestyle and career as well.

the hardest part is establishing your credibility and most of those who stated this often takes in the plunge and hope the companies would grab your offer.once established the next big thing is getting regular clientelles.

I do agree with you. That is why I joined our country's biggest financial institution because of the credibility factor. When they know that I am affiliated with such company, most of them would make a go for it.

i am not a financial planner. but i know how good the prospects are for one who is indulged in this kind of job. everyone who has a substantial amount at hand will always want to have a reliable and good financial planner around. there are not many of them around the country. yet, many are aware of the need for financial planners.
