When you go outdoors, what's the brand of sunblock do you use?

I do love outdoors. Like this summer, going to the beach or go swimming, etc. Our company held its summer outing at Maze Park Iligan City. We went swimming under the sun, so I decided to have a sunblock lotion. I used a beauticontrol product with SPF20. Others used other brands with higher SPF, some have up to SPF50. What about you? When you go outdoors, what's the brand of unblock do you use?

When I go outdoors and have to be directly under the sun for awhile, I would put on a sun block of at least SPF 50 and PA+++, and I would reapply that often. The most effective brand I have found on sunblock so far would be Shiseido's Anessa series, it's specially designed for outdoor or beach activities and you won't get even a bit darker after you use this. My mom loves it too as it's not greasy and it's very light with good blocking of both UVA and UVB rays. For usual days, I would just put on a sunblock of SPF 15 or SPF 25, that would be fairly enough for normal days.

Cheap umbrella won't do much of a UV rays protection unless they're specifically said they are UV proof. So really use a sunblock of at least SPF15 so as to protect your skin against darkening and aging when you are still young!

Thanks for sharing those sunblocks. I think I learned something here. I will start looking for that series you mentioned. Hehehe most of the time I do not use sunblock, but would bring my cheap umbrella to protect me. LOL. But I have a powder with spf15 that I would use once in a blue moon. God bless!

I use all natural, Arbonne products. They have an SPF 15 and an SPF 45 lotion that I use all the time. Sometimes I wear a facial moisturizer that is only SPF 8, but those are on days I know I will be mostly indoors. If I am playing sports all day outdoors, like a weekend rugby tournament, I will wear SPF 70 that is sweat proof and rub proof, so i know it won't wear off during the day. but I wear sunscreen EVERY DAY!

I will check on those Arbonne products. It seems very interesting specially the SPF70 which is sweat proof and rub proof. That must be very expensive. Thank you for sharing the information my friend. I really appreicate your response about sunscreen lotions. God bless!

I love going to the beach during the summer season and anytime if given the chance, but I hate going home sunburned. I use this Nivea Lotion with SPF45, it is effective for me, it protects my skin from sunburn so I don't have to worry anymore, I just enjoy.

It is great to enjoy outdoors. But its not good to have be sun burned. That can be very painful. And it can damage our skin too. Sun block can protect us from getting sun burned and from skin cancer. I want you to be safe my friend. Thanks for responding. God bless!

I prefer to wear normal sunglasses. My dad has a good sun glasses which made in Holland. It was exactly measured as my dad's sights.

For me, it doesn't really matter what brand of sunblock lotion to use as long as it protects me from the sun. =)

That is good. Atleast you try using sunblock. The brand does not matter that much as long as you are protected, I agree. LOL. Thank you my friend. God bless!

For some reason, I tan and burn at the same time, and after a while, I just tan. I just burn slightly and then it disappears. I find it I use sunblock, I look like a pale ghost so a tan looks good on me, but it does not turn dark, maybe the color of pale tea at the most. I do not use a sunblock or a sun tan lotion now and the highest I used was SPF15, but I eat a lot of tomatoes. There is something in them that protects one's skin from skin cancer and keeps one from burning. What, I have no idea or it could be that there is some Italian in me someplace.

I use Banana Boat 45 SPF or Panama Jack 50 SPF. I burn rather easy in the hot sun so I have to use a sunblock with a high SPF. One of them is actually *sweatproof*. I don't remember which one. I really like that because when I am in the heat of the day I tend to sweat rather easily.

Those brands are new to me. I do not think we have them here in our country today. But I will be trying to hunt on the department stores for one. I do hope I can use one of them too for my self. Thanks for sharing those brands. God bless!

I use Arbonne products. They have some daily moisturizers with SPF 8, I like to use those on typical days when I am not outside a lot. I also use a product from them that has SPF 30 for days I am working outside. Arbonne products are all natural and botanical, so i don't have to worry about what chemicals I am putting on my skin.

I use spf15 sunblock for the face only. I only protect my face and I dont bother to put on some for the body. When I go rafting I put on loads of sunblock on my face and just wear long sleeved shirts and knee high short pants for protection.

Our clothes can shield us from the sun too. When I went white water rafting I was able to use coppertone spf45. I think it was expensive but my friend was a medical representative and she shared it to all of us inside the raft. I was wearing a shorts and t-shirt with a cap. So my face was basically protected from the sun. And was lucky to have sunblock for my legs. LOL. Thank you so much for sharing your experience regarding sunblocks. God bless!

I don't buy one certain brand as I usually just buy whatever is on sale. I like to put at least an SPF of 20 or more on myself when I go out. I usually use an SPF50 for the kids.
