I don't know how to change my avatar!

Hi all mylot users! I'm writing this post not to start a discussion but to ask you for help. It maybe sounds stupid but i don't know how to change my avatar (damn I thought I'm not so soppy). Anyway, would you please tell me how to change my avatar because i've already uploaded a picture in my photos but my avatar still is an empty field.
