what really sums up a good friend? a lot of people have mixed opinions on this.I would rank the following very highly on my list: reliabilty trust humour understanding what would a friend have to do to you to make you rethink whether they were a friend or not?

A good friend has your best interests at heart and is sensitive and honest while being dependable and kind. Betrayal and lies would rate them NOT a true friend.

I have to trust all my friends to a certain degree, and other things that count a lot for me are compassion, humour, interests in common. I do have a few friends that I never fully understand why I'm friends with them.. but hey. They're fine. x

There is an old saying, 'A friend is the one who warns', this is so true as true friend is the one who will warn correct you when you are doing something wrong.
