free music downloads

I am looking for a good site to download music from that is free. I've gone to a lot of sites and they charge you for it, does anyone know some good ones.

There's a rason why all sites charge you money for it... Stores don't hand you free CDs do they? Music cost money, if a site allow you to download music for free then it's an illegal site.
