my wife was watching 'America's Top Model' when something caught my attention. Tyra banks was telling this rather lanky contestant to "own your height". After a few minutes of contemplating what Tyra said, i realise d that I need to "own my swing" The next day, my golf game got very consistent! Thanks Tyra.

"Own your height" , seems like pretty good advice to me. I guess it could apply to so many other aspects of our lives too, if we take it in the right context. Own your personality, own your swing(like for you) or even own yourself. Simple but strong, and makes perfect sense. You gotta say, that Tyra Banks is a smart woman, I really like her, and she makes some really good points in her show too. And "America's next top model" is one of my favorite shows, it might seem like a shallow show to some people but when you watch it you realize how it's all about confidence and cultivating that confidence, and wanting something and just going for it. Glad to know about your swing, and the good golf game..

Hey.... You didn't by any chance see my photo in the profile, did you? All this "nose" talk. Ahem... anyway, yes, I guess it would apply to the nose too. "Own your nose"!

But what does 'own your height' mean? Own up to it meaning accept it? Maybe you just grooved your swing nicely that day.

yes to accept it. owning my swing means i STOP tinkering with it and forget about being concious of the swing mechanics. just swing. every golfer knows whenever someone thinks about the swing mechanics, they will descent to the 7th hell instantly.
