Does Anyone Have Experience With Fring(tm) VOIP service?

There's a new product called Fring, which essentially takes your internet-ready phone and allows the wi-fi (3G, EDGE) to make phone calls instead of the cellular network.
Anyone have experience with Fring? I think this is a keen idea, but I don't really know if it's worthwhile: (cheaper, but more hassle.)
