remember nokia 5110?

the phone with the antenna? lolz. :) well, i had that as my very first nokia phone and i kinda miss it. :P since alot of phone models have been released, it has been already phased out.
well, i was just wondering who among you here still remember the nokia 5110 and if you have used it as your cellphone before. :)

I will never forget that unit of Nokia. My boyfriend uses that before he has the Ericson unit. It's really funny because he can't show it to many people around. Whenever he receive a text message or a call, he would answer it in an area where there are no people. He's really shame of that unit. That's why he never uses it after he got his Ericson.

yes, i agree, ever since those cellphones were invented, the cellphone fad couldnt stop from getting better and i am happy that cellphones were invented because now we can be contacted anytime, anywhere. :)

A lot of people started with a 5110. It was the most common phone in my school back then. Everyone had one and they were always changing the housing, trying to be the one who had the coolest design hehehe.. I started with a 2100 though ^_^

yes, in my school too, it was the common first phone of my classmates. lolz. :) i think everyone in my school can relate to nokia 5110 moments. lolz. :) i really liked 5110 because it was so tough, even though i dropped it accidentally many times, it still came out fine and it had this really cute casings. :) i used to change casings almost everyday. lolz. :)

It became too much of a fad though.. Back then, whenever me and my classmates would go out, they'd spend most of the time in cellphone shops looking for housings =_=

yes, i have experienced that too. my friends and i would go malling and we were all going crazy about all the different casings for sale in the celphone stores. lolz. :P those were the days.

I won't forget that since that was my very first celphone unit ever! I had to cry and beg my mom before she actually bought me one! LOL

haha, i can relate with you. i have to cry and beg to my mom also, for her to buy me a new cellphone before. and now that i think back on those memories, i smile because i must have looked so pathetic to my mom. lolz. :P
