Sunrise, Sunset

Call to me oh light, warmth encased
Come to meet me on the edge of the world
Help me chase the shadows of night away
Away from the dawn as we dance on the horizon
Barely kissing the waves beneath us
Skimming our feet into their depths
Then rising to greet the clouds that dance above us
Reaching for something we can’t see
Pausing only to look below and smiling at our joy
Wondering if others see our joy as well
Then falling slowly joining in the cloud’s dance
Spinning, falling still, into their embrace
Letting them lay us on the edge of the world
Only to dive beneath the waves
Letting the night come again
Splashed across the sky
A poem written on a spur of the moment. Mine usually happen like that and usually turn out for the best. lol. Anyway, what do you guys think?
