I believe that we as friends here on mylot contribute towards each other's joys and sorrows and when our friends are in trouble ....and they post some discussions spelling out their trouble...we immediately reply to them ....showing our concern to them...thereby providing emotional support to them..in their hour of need. Eg Once I started a discussion ...stating the traffic problem in big cities and how I met with an accident. My dear friends were quick to respond and showed their immediate concern...making me feel bit relieved. Likewise one of our friends here was attacked by some wild birds 'Ravan', all of us immediately wrote to her showing our concern.... and possible suggestions. I hope in this manner, we could provide...her emotional support...which was perhaps need by her in her hour of need.
What are your views on this. Please share with me.

Absolutely, deepak. i cannot say how much of emotional help my friends provide here to me. some of my friends are just so sweet and caring that i have started to confide in my heart to them. it feels great, how they support me ,especially in bad times, through PMs and emails. i think, talking out heart and getting advice and support from friends is what gets me going.
myLot, is an excellent friendship chatting site, where we kind of cry, laugh, smile, argue, inspire and console. what else one would want!!
deepak, i have to tell you this, that one of my friends who is consistent with support, comfort words and cheery mails, is definitely you. i couldnot have done without your support. you are a wonderful friend and a great consoler, spreading out positive vibes to all.
thanx for being so supportive.

THANK YOU DEEPAK.
now, you will tell me not to thank you but i will for everytime you do that inspite of my warnings. LOL..
You know what, its rare to come across ppl with honest, big hearts and i have found a big one in you, pls donot ever change.
i know, friendship needs to be rreciprocated and i agree to what you have said that the exchane of PMs...should ne mutual. but i believe, even if there isn't an exchange or there is only one sided effort, you can still feel the connection and the positive vibes..
therein lies the beauty of friendship.
THANK YOU

First of all a big 'sorry' for not seeing your counter-comments earlier. I would surely say please do not say -"THANK YOU DEEPAK"
Yes, I agree that it is rare that we come across people who are honest and sincere....
Your words that you have found an honest fellow in me......are BIG BIG compliments for me (ever received in my life)
Do not worry, until and unless something drastic happens I am not going to change.
OK tumhari hi baat man letey hai ki...even PMs are one sided ....it should not effect friendship, nonetheless CONNECTION between friends can always be felt.
I feel honoured to be complimented and judged by you.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.

So I was on the dot in starting this discussion that friends here invariably give emotional support to each other in the hour of our need (the positive replies received in response to my discussion have confirmed my belief).
When I started here....I did not realise this potentional and power of connecting with friends..... The more sweet and kind friends I added to my list...I realised that they are proving to be great emotional support in my joys and sorrows here and they provide their stedfast support more than I can ever dream of or think of.
I just cannot believe that my little gestures of replying to their discussions, commenting on their posts, sending PMs will one day take me so close to my friends and vice versa.
I believe it is a two way traffic...apprciating gestures, comforting words and mails when come from both the ends....make the friendship more stronger and strengthen the bond between us.
Saying 'Thanks' would be a very very small word for appreciating and complimenting me for my support...(anyway tons of thanks for using superlative words for me).
I feel that ...I should always be there to support my dear and kind friends here and whatever help, assistance, moral support I can provide to my friends...(atleast through my simple words) I must do that, come what may.
I must say again say big 'thanks' and I feel obliged to my friends for giving me the opportunity to support them/assist them.
I will continue to do that...till I am here.
Have a great and wonderful day!
Deepak

Yes, by responding someone's disccussion with our heart it can make a virtual bound between us. It seems I felt the same feeling as he/she felt.
Same thing happen when someone responded to our discussion with their heart. I feel relieve with the response, at least I have something to consider before I decide.
I never been in this situation before, but I kinda like it.

Neo, you are right that when we reply someone's discussion by heart...we get connected to him/her through our response and words.
Thanks for responding by heart. I liked it.

Of course, and that is one of the big bonuses that i get here. I know that i enjoy so much helping and supporting people here.
That this is one of the most important things that we can do here.
And i am glad that there are many people that realized that they can get that support.
It is not easy traveling life alone, and somtimes this web site is the life saviour in certain moments of life.
