What's the best thing to do when you're sad and down?

I'm kinda lonely right now... I don't know why. Situations are kinda tough. Sometimes I just stare at the ceiling and thinking about nothing. I wanna get away from these problems even for a while. What's the best thing to do? insights pls...

i used to do it . you can listening music.i always do this when i am sad. and also ,just like now ,you post it here ,there will be many responses later,you can pick up any advice you like. life had ups and downs ,it is ok to feel lonely. best wishes for you, blessed be

yes, it is a good move for her to have posted this here in mylot for a discussion. i have had my share of mylot healing magic. however, i have noticed that this friend of ours has been gone for sometime from mylot. perhaps she can share with us some of the activities that got her busy. welcome back to mylot, my friend. your absence has been quite long.

I tried istening to music but some songs makes me cry. ;) Days had been tough. I don't know what to do. But thabk you. thank you for sharing. btw I was working really hard and I have no time to pass by, even for just a while. There are so many paper works and drafting projects to finish. That's why I didn't get the chance of sticking by. I'll make it up. Promise. ;) thanks.

play on some soft, instrumental music, then go into a deep meditation. slowly, try to see what has been going on with your life that has caused you to feel this way. then as you get to pinpoint some probable causes, list them down. now see, if there is something which you can do to ease these things out. i can say that at least you have straighten up some things from now. now, the next step will be to fill the void that has enveloped your feelings. go take a good break. where do you think will be the best place to go to unwind? whom is it that you want to be with? embark on that unwinding activity alone or with friends as you desire. take your time out and enjoy the day or the entire week, how long may it take you, you will soon find yourself fully rejuvenated and renewed, ready again to face more things to do productively. get rid of that burnt out feeling fast. help yourself. it will not be going to do you any good to keep on with that feeling. find a way to break it fast and soon.
