Black Cats..

there shudn't really be any problem with black cats as there's no harm by them i have ever heard bout..however suddenly seeing a black cat with glowing eyes at nite can be give a lil shiver...but i dont believe there shud b any bad omen related to this...

I have had several black cats and I have found that they are very gentle. One was a big female and she had kittens and she was great with them and with us...Never minded us near her babies like some cats...some attack if you even walk past them...

I love all cats, no matter what thier color is, if there were one puple cat in the world, and everybody thought it was so weird that they did'nt want it, i would take it in a heart beat, just like people, it doesn't matter what color we are on the outside, it is what is inside that counts, every species of every color can be good or bad.

I love black cats. My very first cat was black & I had gone looking for a black cat. I currently have 4 black cats, tho 2 of them are looking for new homes. Those would be the 2 younger black cats at 5 & a half & 5. I've only had them 5 months tho.

Personally I have a black cat named Dragon. She's my darling angel and when I was in a bad relationship what she chose to do to my ex was one of the things that helped me wake up and get out of the relationship. Sometimes she's smarter than me so I've learned to listen to her about things concerning people. She's a wonderful cat. The superstitions change depending on culture not just color of the cat. Some cultures have taught that cats are special good luck and should be revered. Personally, I just say cats are awesome and deserve all the love and attention they want regardless of anything else.

these were just superstition, and some people really would believe in superstition and believe that black cats are witches familiars.

I love black cats as I think they are so cute and affectionate. One of my neighbors has a black cat though me and my neighbors feel they kicked it out of the house and replaced with a black dog. It is a very friendly cat that loves attention and does not do any harm. I am not superstitious about black cats. I enjoy petting the other black cat that walks around the neighborhood.

That old wives tale is just that, black cats aren't bad luck but a lot of people still believe that they are. I am not a cat person so it doesn't make a huge difference to me.

i absolutely LOVE black cats. my own cat is black. It is so unfiar that they get such a bad wrap. Judging a cat by the color of its fur is no different than judging a person by the color of their skin. It is a prejudice, and it is wrong.

I'm not superstitious, and I used to have a black cat of my own when I was little. I love black cats, and cats of other colors as well. A friend of mine had a black cat too, and I would play with it. Black cats should not be neglected. I call this subject of people hating black cats discrimination.

I had a black cat for awhile name max.He was a wild cat.He tried to attack me and my family a couple of times.We treated him well but he ended up getting attack by another animal and didn't survive.

Hi! we currently have 24 cats, and 6 of them are black.. so far our house hasn't been struck down by lightning.. Superstitious people believe that black cats bring you bad luck (if one should happen to come across that person), but did you know that European people believe that black cats bring good luck? they often keep lots of black cats lying around in their homes. Ancient Egyptians revered cats as gods (their "main" god Isis has a head of a cat), because they believed that the cat's pair of eye (which glows and reflects light) is the mirror to their heaven. Black-cats-bad-luck has become a stigma, and if anyone should report that these "bad-luck" allegations are true, it is purely coincidental.

This is really a a fact that only superstitions do so, otherwise there is no reason to say a bad omen to black cats any animal. There might be a case that you have seen a black cat and something wrong happens but what when the same happens without seing a black cat. Nobody thinks about it. I belive all animals are the creation of GOD and we have no right to make any diferrences in them.

Our first cat was black. He was a great cat. His name was Magic. We got him when I was almost 9 and he was 17 or 18 when we had to put him down because he was scratching my children in the face. It was a sad day because I had him most of my life but he was old and ill. At that time we had a 2nd black cat. her name was Folly and she was a complete nut. I found her as a kitten in an alley and brought her home. She was about 8 years old when we got rid of them.

I always thought it was good luck for a cat to cross your path, thats what my mum told me anyway, i dont really take much notice tho as am not a superstitious person, i have just got the most adorable little black kitten and she is definatly not scary.

I think if anything black cats are special as they supposedly bring you good luck if they cross your path. One ran across the road in front of our van when we were out the other day, luckily my partner put the brakes on and the cat got across without harm. I can't say we've had either good or bad luck since to be honest! I know some people think black cats are bad luck becuase they associated with witches. I love all cats equally, mine is mostly black with white chin, belly & paws and she's the most gorgeous cat ever. ;-)

I don't have problems with black cats. We actually have one in the house. Now, our grey cat has some issues with luck. Besides from being the stupidest cat I've ever known, he's survived some impossible situations. Hmmm, they do have nine lives right?

I have had many cats in my lifetime. One of my favorite cats was a black persian, he had the sweetest disposition. I don't beleive anything is lucky or unlucky. I think it's silly to be afraid of black cats.

Oh i love pure black cats, i had one for years, and when i moved out of my parents house i wasnt allowed to take it :( I would love to get another one. :)
