Do i need to bring a gift for a 1 year anniversary party?

my friend's parents are throwing he and his wife a 1 year anniversary party. we were among the 40 or so who flew out to florida for their wedding. the invitation was informal over email and didn't mention anyhing about gifts. i'm wondering if we're expected to bring present

Maybe I'm wrong but anytime you're invited to something like this, you're expected to bring a gift unless it specifies no gifts. You could probably make up a romantic gift basket or something with a romantic theme since they're only 1 year into their marriage. Good luck with your decision.
