Corduroy or Velvet?

Corduroy - See if it fits you, but I prefer velvet than this.

I've been keeping in touch with my clothes last month, and considering the condition and texture of my clothes assure me that they are still good to use. I have corduroys but no velvets in my drawer. However, I prefer velvets than corduroys. I just don't like the way corduroy runs in my pants. Now, what's your preference? Ridged Corduroy or smooth Velvet?

In pants I would definitely prefer corduroy to velvet. I do not know why - velvet pants do not sound right to me. I really prefere linen

Hmm, quite right. I like corduroy, but mostly prefer velvet. I just don't know why. Maybe because it's smooth? Hehe. Velvet are good for coats. I like their texture so much I wish I had one. Anyway, thanks for your answer!

don't like coruroy. for some reason the lines make me itch when I'm sat on it (whether trousers or upholstery) I love velvet.

Me either, but I still like corduroy - that's when I am in the mood for it. Sometimes I wear it as pants and jackets, but velvet does me mostly good, I like the texture of velvet more than corduroy.

for pants and jackets I prefer corduroy.it is sturdier than velvet.for dresses and skirts,velvet is a good material.it is soft.velvet can also be used as accents for shoes.I like both materials.
