Real still on top with two games to go!!

Real Madrid pulled of a 3-1 win over Deportivo to remain on top of La Liga with two rounds to go. Beckham was the architect of this win by creating two goals and yes Ruud scored again. Although Barca then manged to beat Getafe 1-0, they might end up playing the last two matches with Ronaldinho as he got sent off!! This is Real's best chance to regain their trophy. All they need is two wins in the next two matches and Ruud to score in the two matches!! What are your views? Cheers! Ram

It was indeed a great victory over Depor. The belief that the team now has will surely spur them on to winning the league. I am still a little worried about the Zaragoza game at La Romereda next week but with Becks and Ruud in such great form I can see us winning it 3-2. Also Ruud has 23 goals and closest is Kanoute with 21. 4 years has been a long wait but the celebrations when the whites (hopefully) win the league will be AWESOME!

I still think that this is a very close game, just one slip up and Barca are in front. So it is still too close to call. For Real the equation is simple, win both the matches and the cup is in the bag. Cheers! Ram

indeed we could say this is a surprise as Real Madrid has been in a bad shape in the last 3 years and we only saw conflicts, players coming and going and no trophyes getting won. this could be a big step to a new Real Madrid domination era.
