need to track an ip add

i m receiving really bad mails frm a yahoo acc. I knw this is being by a person who knows me very well. I wish to determine his ip add. Kindly help me n lemme knw how to find one's ip add thru mail.

Look at the full header and that will show the IP address the email was sent from. Then you can do an NS look up and that will tell you the name of the ISP the email was sent through. From that you should be able to determine the area they are from. Beyond that you need the help of the ISP to determine who the actual person was with that IP address.
