Yahoo is stealing your time!!!

With all the web adverts on yahoo and many other search engines, it is becoming more and more difficult to find what you're really searching for. Many times your search returns more than one listing of almost identical looking links that end up a majority of the time taking you to advertisement ridden pages with no real information on what your searching for. I'm starting this discussion in hopes to help people better understand how to refine your searches and what to look for to avoid these advert-attacks. All tips and responses welcome, lets beat the search engines!!!
