How long does a box turtle live?

Box Turtles - Here is a pic of a box turtle. It looks just like mine does. I guess they must all look alike..

My daughter got herself a turtle for her birthday back in June of 1995. The turtle she named Ace is still alive. She is thriving...does anyone know anything about box turtles? I don't do anything special. I feed her lettuce and some fruit but that about it...My father is amazed on how well she is doing?

That's my turtle. I heard they can live to be 50 years old, so we have awhile with her yet. I might have to put her in my will.

yea, your turtle...who takes care of her....? lol You named her but I feed her, clean her tank, I do everything for her....hahahaha
