Would you take your child if you r going to watch a very graphic violent movie?

children- our world - we need to be more careful about wat our children r exposed to, cause our children r a reflection of our care for them.

Today, I went to watch a movie with me parents which was based on a real incident. it was based on dons, n how they have their nexus in Mumbai. N how they operate, n kill ninnocent people to spread their fear across the city. N how they were killed in the most shocking, n undignified way by the cops,. This movie is an adult movie cause there r a lot of swears n badwords used by the actors. It is called Shootout At Lokhandwala. So thats about the movie,, Well While entering the cinema, I saw a couple taking their 1 year old kid along with them for the movie, n that to it was the 9pm-12pm show ie the 21.00-24.00 show. I was really upset. I mean they could have kpet the child with a babysitter or somethin. Hwo can u take your child for a movie that has violence, n gore in almost every scene, n is an adult movie? I told me mom baout it, n she agreed as well, that the parents were in fault. This may put a negative impact on the child, n he may see n question stuff that he may feel WIERD, OR NOT HEARD OF in the movie....Parents play an important role in moulding the child's future, n I feel the parents were wrong in taking the child at the cinema so late, n for such an inappropriate movie,, Wat say?

You see stuff like that all the time. Some parents think that it wont affect the child because they are so young and the parents think that the child will not remember anything, but that isn't true. The pictures and the words and the violence gets absorbed and sits in their subconscious minds. I know that I get upset when I go to an R rated movie and see little children in the theater with their parents. You just know that the child is going to have nightmares later.

I agreeiwth u , but at least I would not take my children to waych a violent mivie myself, cause we can stop that right? But when at home, there r almost all channels these days that show stuff that is inappropriate to children , n at times we cannot stop it.But we can certainly take em for a children's movie, than an adults, violent movie!!!

Absolutely not! Not even sure I'd go myself. I don't like that kind of movie. I feel strongly that children are exposed to too much violence already on the television. Sure wouldn't take them to the big screen for it where it is even more frightening.
