We have a visiting pastor from Virginia, USA and he talked about divisions in the Church and how the Lord looks upon it. The Lord is not pleased for the Church is His body and that there should be no divisions on the Church. What do you think about this? Can you share your Pastor's sermon? There's probably a lot on Memorial Day celebration.

Our priest talked about Pentecost, which is 50 days from Easter Sunday, the birthday of the Catholic Church, the day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles. He talked about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the corresponding fruits like Love, Peace, Patience, etc. For me, I always ask for the Holy Spirit's guidance whenever I am discerning on things or making decisions. He gives me the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge and many more.

Thanks for responding. Yes, it's a common knowledge that Christianity starts on the Pentecost especially the Pentecostals. Isn't it that the Roman Catholic Church based their foundations or the origin of the church to Peter when Jesus told Peter, "Upon this rock, I will build my church." But for me, the start of the church, which is the Body of Christ didn't start until the Apostle Paul was converted on his way to Damascus (Acts 9) and later on, all things about the mystery of the one Body of Christ and all things pertaining to the age of grace were all revealed to Paul (Acts 13 onwards). All these you can find in the writings of Paul from the book of Romans to the book of Hebrews (which I believe he authored also).
