I brought my husband home for the Care Center today. I am so happy to have him back home! It was lovely not having to cook and do so much laundry, but I really missed him! Now the TV is blasting away, I've run my legs of fetching things for him, etc., but I feel better! Thanks to all of you who helped me through my days of "rest".

I sure did. I have been taking care of him for over a year now. He was so bad last year when we put him in hospice, we never thought he would be alive a year later! I am very blessed.

Oh my that's such good news to hear...you did need the rest though didn't you, and I bet the hours dragged on...but gee, now you can go back to complaining that you have too much to cook, too many dirty dishes to clean, too much laundry, the TV is too loud, that you're tired of running doing errands for him ---ah....but I bet you missed it...LOL

Congratulations!
Nothing beats seeing ur love ones...
Running errands may be tiring and doing it on long term makes one even more tired...
Take that as a small break and i believe from the days u have rested, u find that u miss him even more, right?
Thus i believe u will be more willingly to do those minor little things for him...
Even though he might have never request you to do so...
Hang on...
Happy times will be here soon...
=)

Yes, even though I needed the break, I was lonesome without him! Thanks for your reply.

awwwww bless im happy for you, its always good to get a break from the person you are living with but even better when you end up back together, just remember to try and take a little time out for yourself each day so you can relax and not allow for things to get on top of you :-)
