Do you like sour foods? Me and my brothers and sister grew up eating raw rhubarb. We sat in front of the tv sucking on lemons. Our favorite time to pick grapes and green apples was just before they were ripe... don't even get me started about our love for pickles!
My brother used to manage an auto parts store. Some of the employees thought it would be funny to offer him some joke candy... they're supposed to make your mouth pucker up. The joke backfired when he said, "these are good, got any more?" :~D
How about you, do you like anything that other people say is too sour?

lol, some stuff. I like lemonheads candy, and those sour gummy worms candy but that's pretty much it. I do like green apples, but they aren't my favorite!

I love sour stuff. I love to eat those lemon heads. I also like to eat the sour coated skittles. I love sour stuff. I like things that make your mouth pucker so much that you have to take a pry bar to open it. I always eat the things that other people say is too sour.

I hate sour food except maybe hot and sour soup. I really avoid having sour things with a vengeance. The only time I really enjoy a sour note in my drink is lime juice, but I beat the sourness with a generous amount of sugar with a pinch of salt.

I am not real crazy about too sour, although I like sour pickles and kraut and a few other things.
I prefer the sweet or salty myself.
It really depends on my mood I guess.

Sour has always worked for me, it's bitter that I can't stand. I loved to eat rhubarb when I was a kid. My parents used to grow it in their garden and I would just cut off a bit, wash it and eat it - delicious! I've really been missing it these days.
I love sour candies and I like lemons and lemon juice. Pickles are also fantastic! And they really have to be sour, I once bought sweet sour pickles and they were truly disgusting.

Oh the memories. It was my grandma that got us into rhubarb. She had a couple of bushes and (like you) we would eat them right out of the garden. Yu~MEE!
the words "sweet" and "pickle" should never be used in the same sentence. ;~D

I don't really like sour foods. However if the sour food is preserved and turned into pickles, I am very fond of them. One of my favorite pickels is papaya. I also love mangoes and cucumbers. The sweet, sour and salty taste is so delicious!

this family really likes sour stuff too, we crave it. from eating mustard on the spoon, to pickles, lemons, limes, grapefruit, super sour candies etc. I have not however, tried rhubarb raw, it just never occurred to me. maybe next year, our little patch already bolted this year.

That's funny because, while I've been eating rhubarb all my life, it never occured to me to cook it until just a few years ago. ;~D

Well then, I'm not alone! Same here all the way down the line, rhubarb, lemon, lime, green apples, pickles, anything sour and makes most people pucker and shudder is ok by me. I eat a lot of lemons in the summer, just peel and eat like an orange. My best friend says she gets a jaw ache every time I eat them in front of her. LOL.

No my friend, you are not alone!
I would eat lemons like oranges, but I only like the "pulp". So I cut them up like little grapefruits and eat them like that. Good Stuff!!
Yeah, usually people around me pucker up more than I do. ;~D

Hey I love rhubarb pie but of course soaked with sugar to kill the soar taste. My youngest boy eats raw onions also and all of my kids grew up eating raw blackberries (very sour) or lemons.

Oh, I love those sour candies too. They used to be widely available but for some reason they're now only sold in specialty candy shops...
I like pickles too. Whole pickles. My mom would always complain about me eating all the pickles by myself, in one night. But what can I do? I love it :9
