When did your baby eat table food?

Our youngest son is almost 13 months old and won't eat table food. He doesn't want baby food, either, and tends to choke on it. It's only stage 2, so there shouldn't be any reason for him to choke on it. He does the same thing with any kind of table food, if and when we get it in his mouth. He will gnaw on a teething cookie, but if a piece comes off he chokes on it. I'm beginning to get concerned. He still drinks formula (due to allergies - his brother was the same way, and so was I) and we add rice cereal to it (reflux issues - he chokes on it, as well, if it isn't just a few scoops in the formula) so he is getting in his vitamins and such that he needs, but I am concerned that I can't even get him to eat baby food. Anyone else have this problem with their child? Our oldest son is Autistic, but so far our youngest isn't showing any symptoms or anything (according to his doctor - won't look you in the eye, hand flapping, shows little or no emotion, so on) but since we have one child diagnosed with Autism our chances of other children we have, or might have, also being Autistic is higher than "average". Not sure if this is an issue yet or not.
Anyway, anyone else deal with this problem with their children? If so, what did you do about it?
