Other Uses for Tide

I LOVE Tide for my clothes, but I have found that Tide is useful in other areas as well. I actually buy the Tide/Downy powder and sprinkle it one my carpets. My house smells wonderful and I found that it cuts down on fleas a great deal. I was amazed. Plus growing up my parents always used Tide as a fertilizer in the yard and we always had a gorgeous yard with no common yard bugs.

Wow thats very interesting. I didn't know that about Tide. I'll have to tell my husband about it tonight. When you sprinkle it on the floor, have you had any problems with it bleaching the carpet out? What a cheap way to fertilize :)
