People usually associate Bali with the night spots and cheap food and beer. But if you are willing to spend a bit more, you can see the Bali painters at work, visit an authentic village where only one family lives now, see Bali silver smiths at work, see Bali woodcarvers at work and even buy some of their work as soveigniors. Can top off the cultural experience with al fresco dining with the volcano in the backdrop or visit the monkey temple during sunset.
Or you can just bump around in the resort and pamper yourself with all the spa and what not. but that is not the true bali experience.

I would love to go ta Bali at some point, but it's one of the most expensive places to go to from Denmark so it wont be any time soon.
