I have been in love with at least one person before, and I'm in love at the moment. The first was mad, passionate love where your entire happiness depends on that person, but now, it's more sensible. We'd do almost anything for each other, but we're realistic about it as well.

Twice. The first already had a boyfriend...so really I was just asking to get disappointed. The second is my best friend in college and we hang out nearly every single day this past year. I knew earlier on that she didn't feel the same way about me, but still I persevered, thinking that overtime that would change. I've learnt that it's really not worth it to offer your heart and soul to someone who just simply isn't interested in the first place, no matter how well you get along or how similar you both are. Too painful, but sometimes I can't help myself.

I'm actually not sure. I used to think I was in love with my ex, but since I hated his guts for three of the four years we were together, I don't think so. I'm very happy with my boyfriend and I love being with him, but I'm not sure if it's "love". I think I'm too afraid of getting hurt/screwed over again, so I'm kinda holding back and not falling completely for him. Some days I just wanna forget everything else, move in with him, and make my whole life revolve around him. But it's not realistic, I still have to think about the future career-wise and financially, and doing all those things would be foolish. But days when I see him are so much better and there's no one that makes me happier. So I can definitely say that I love him, but I'm not sure if I'm "in love" with him.
