What can you say about Cebu City, Philippines?

I am originally from Davao City, my hubby & I only moved to Cebu late last year because of his work. I find Cebu City very dark at night time, it doesn't have that much lamp posts. I can still say Davao City is far better...

I can't say much as I've never been there. I would love to go to the philipines some day, where's the best / most interesting place to go?
