I remember those days, i was in a very similiar situation. we only had one car, so the hubby had it, and I stopped working a month before the baby was due, per doctor's orders. (I was having bad brackston hicks all the time) Anyways, I walked ALOT, I would go for 2-3 walks a day, one first thing in the morning, then i'd go home, take a bath and a nap, then I'd go for one after lunch and another later on in the evening. It helped me feel like i was doing something useful, I hated it, but it was good for me. All that walking will help you prepare for labor, and it has been said taht walking is a good way to induce labor (although I walked for a month, and he didn't come early or anything!) (: Also, if you can, try to reconnect with some friends, and family, or go rent some movies, and spend a whole day watching them, once the baby is born, and not sleeping all day (after a couple of weeks) you won't have as much time to catch up on your movies. Good luck and Congrats! Babies are wonderful, you'll love being a mom! (:

I remember my last week of pregnancy like it was yesterday i was soooooooooooo bored i had spd so all i could really do was sit and watch telly but i annoyed my friends and family by calling them all day so theyd come over to see me so we all sat and had a gossip together that made the time go a bit quicker.

If I were in that situation I would just watch TV or read some good books, or magazines. You won't have time for those things once your baby arrives, just do something you enjoy doing. Do you have like a myspace page? You could start setting one up so once your baby does arrive you can post pictures of him/her for your friends and family to see. I don't know =) Good luck!!

Just enjoy your time now, as this time won't go back. After your baby was born, you will be very tired and busy for it. When I was pregnant in the last two weeks before my baby was born, I stayed at home and play the computer games:)

Why not start a hobby like scrapbooking. I crochet blankets and honestly it keeps my hands busy and at the same time it is very relaxing. It is very easy to learn and there are tons of books for beginners.
