My little girl is nearly 5 months im not really sure what i can and cant give her as they cant have gluten till 6 months so i worry that she might have a reaction altho i do give her baby rice which they can have from 4 months you just add it to their normal milk, i have to add juice from fruit mainly peach or i puree a little bit of a banana as she doesnt care for the taste of the rice maybe its too boring but at least i am introducing fruit at an early age which i guess is a good thing.

We let ours taste assorted things dipped unto the end of our fingers. There a slews of processed baby foods out there including some organic varieties, or as someone suggested get a blender. Ours used to love to chew on the corn cob after we had eaten the kernels off of it. Just stay away from hotdogs. Many kids choke on them when they are learning to eat.
