The end of the school year is coming for all the children , do you do anything special for your child if they grade to the next level ? What do you normally do ? How many children do you have in school to do this for ? Is it a special day at your house or just like any other day ?

I always tell her if she does well and passes then she can pick out something she wants as a reward. I am not always able to spend a lot but I think it's nice because she then see's that she gets rewarded for doing well in school. Her Grandma gives her money everytime she gets a report card. For A's she gets $2 and for B's $1. I think she made like $9 on the last one. I don't pressure her though, I had a friend growing up that would get grounded for getiing a C. I don't think that is right. As long as my daughter tries her best and asked for help when she needs it then that is good for me. I only have one child so people that have a lot more in school it might be a bit harder could get very costly.

My aunt always plans stuff for them to do during the summer. They go to the park and have picnics, movies, bowling, swimming. She tries to do something at least once a week with them. My mom gives my nephew a gift for making the honor roll or having good grades even if its just something he really likes to eat. Like a watermelon.

I do make something special in such case such as the first one that my daughter had last school year. However, I always do things that I think are special for my children at least once a month. I make the effort to have an outing with them that is really memorable. For now I only have one child going to school and I do treat her from time to time for performing well in school.
