Which is your favourite song from the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

We are going to see the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the theatre this evening. Apparently it has a flying car scene or two. I love the songs from the film so I hope lots of those are included. It will be such fun. I think the song I love best is 'Truly Scrumptious' it is very clever. The child-catcher part is quite scarey though so I may have to hug my husband at that point - what a good excuse!

I never knew Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was actually a musical :)
For me is a movie I saw when I was a very young kid. I don't remember very much of it but that it was fascinating, the places they went with their flying car and all :) I sure would like to see it again (or the musical for that matter :) )
As for the songs, I don't remember any of them (I didn't even remember it had songs) besides the theme song (the one having Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in it). It's been a lot of years since I saw the movie but I still find that song running through my mind every now and then :)

It was a great show. It even had dogs on for the factory scene! The flying car was brilliant and the children actors were amazing. I think the best song they did was 'From the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success'. The dance routine for the fairground pole dancing morris dancers was superb. A great time was had by all.

I have never seen the film or show and I hope you enjoyed yuorself. The only song I can think of from the film is the main song about the car and I always used to enjoy that one when I was younger.
