People who ask you something then wont believe you...

These kinds of people sort of annoys me in a way. I mean, if you ask someone a question and receives an answer from them.. arent you supposed to believe it? Even just a bit. For an instance, just this afternoon... a friend of mine was trying on her new clothes, then she asked me which of the clothes did she look better on. So... I took a pick, and I genuinely thought that she looked good in it. Then she said, nah I think I look better with these.. and she pointed to a purple dress. I mean, what... why did you even bother to ask me? Or when I chat online.. someone asks me what my asl is... then when I give it to them, they say... " no, I dont believe you, you seem older." *sigh* And I would think... why do I even bother. What about you? What do you think about these kind of people? :) What do you do when this happens to you? :)

I find people that ask you something and then act like they don't believe you or do not want to take your word for what you say very annoying. My granddaughter does that to me. She will ask me something then when I say no to it she will say are you sure. Why can't she just take me at my word the first time?
