Addictions! People have addictions of every kind but because the word is usually associate with bad or illegal things nobody like to admit it. I'm going to be the first here to admit to my many addictions. Some I'm proud of and others, well, not so proud but I have them just the same. It's not easy shaking loose from them and it's even worse when they can get us in trouble either physically or legally. So, here I go. I'm addicted to cigarettes, coffee, the internet, my grandkids, my ferrets, making money online, country music, my ex boyfriend (lol...truth), and being happy! Ok, now everyone else's turn. What are your addictions good and bad? Do you try to break them if their bad and have you succeeded in any?

Ok, I really really don't like to admit this but I too am addicted to smoking - each day I wake I say this is going to be the day I quit but continue to fail. I just continue praying for the strength to break this habit and keep on trying. I am also addicted to the internet, Diet Pepsi, and my grandchildren (angry with my daughter right now because she didn't bring 2 grandkids over to watch the parade that goes right in front of my house yesterday)

the things that we love the most! i love my children so much, this is foremost. my life was never the same when they came into my life. i have always considered them to be my priority and have thus been used to sacrifice so much for them. comes next will be food. i love to eat. i cook a lot. i love chocolates and milk, too. it must be difficult to live life without htem. and yes, fruits, i am used to taking fruits always in plentiful amounts for as far back as i can remember.

I think the bottom line is we all have something in life that we consider to be an addiction. And you are right, they are not always "bad" things. For me, I am addicted to coffee and the Internet. The coffee is basically a harmless addiction, but the Internet does take my time away from my loved ones. cheers,
