I have a Pentium IV 2.4 Ghz with 1 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard disk. I have lots of old photos which I got scanned. So I am learning a bit of editing with GIMP. Also I got lots of old audio cassettes which I plan to convert. I use Win XP Home edition

Um, I have a Mac. I'm fond of it. I'm running iTunes and Firefox right now, jamming to Bruce Springsteen. Yeah.
