This is a sort of reposting from an earlier discussion I started. I meant it be a forum for fans of QOTSA to talk about their favorite songs, but I kept getting random songs.
So QOSTA fans, what's your favorite song? And better yet, what's your favorite album?
Personally, I love the album Songs for the Deaf. While "No One Knows" is that song that got me hooked, I love "Mosquito Song", "God is in the Radio", and "Hangin' Tree." Your turn.

The best song Homme has ever touched is Regular John. I can only ever find live versions. Its a f*ckin mental track. There's a gig version on "Over the woods & through the trees" DVD. Best album? Rated R. For everyone. Everywhere. All the time. Nuff said.

Rated R, does indeed rock. I love the last track with the eternal trumpet playing, it is redundantly brilliant.

Oh hell yeah Songs for the Deaf is my fave album. I also love Rated R.. but this album has more range and is much more musicaly nutzo.

EraVulgares is surely one of those that grows on you. Its kind of more subtle and sneaks up on you with its brilliance.
At first I was a bit aloof to the album, but as I continued listening, it really grew on my as a wonderful album.

Rated R is a great album. I love "Leg of Lamb". That just rocks. What do you think of Era Vulgaris? I love Sick, Sick, Sick but the rest of the album is slowly growing on me.

Wow, I love "No One Knows" too! I also love "Monsters in the Parasol", "Millionaire", and "Lost Art of Keeping a Secret". Oddly, all of those songs are on the sampler disc I have...
I hadn't ever listened to "Mosquito Song", but it's pretty good!

Oh man, you only have a sampler disc? You really need to get the full length album. I think Songs for the Deaf is the best concept album I've heard in a long time. Plus you need to check out their other stuff too! Their newest album will be out June 12. It's called Era Vulgaris. It will rock!

Haha, no no, I have Songs for the Deaf and R also. The sampler is just my favorite. (Maybe it helps that it's the first 5 songs in the list of QOTSA on my iTunes?)

"songs for the deaf" is my favorite QOTSA album too. Maybe because it's their first album I listened to. But my favorite song from that album is "go with the flow" :)
