The two weird things that i do (well I'm sure there are more, these are all I'm thinking of now) If I have a big meal and get a huge plate of food. Say at Thanksgiving. I don't like any of my food touching any other foods. I don't want my corn to touch my potatoes or my potatoes to touch my roll. If they touch I wont eat that part. I just don't like the taste of the two things together. I have been told that they all end up in my stomach so why worry about them. Well I have to go through my taste buds to get to my stomach first lol.
Second thing i do is I make me a bologna and potato chip sandwich. Yep I put potatoe chips right on my sandwich with my bologna. That is weird considering what I just said up above. But I like it .
What do you do with your food that others would consider weird or different?

How interesting eating habits. Did you forget to mention that you like to arrange the lizards' tails between their legs before you slice their bellies and licked up their hearts?
Well, I don't have such interesting habits like you. I just gobble everything up.

Lets see I remember having some rice one day and I got tired of it so I put some food coloring in it and then I had some blue rice (HA) of course the rice tasted the same and you couldn't even taste the food color and I also remember having a hamburger with the paotatochip in side it bread, hamburger, paotaochip then the bun but that was when I was growing up and my grandfather just alughed when he saw me do that then he tried it.

Well I will tell you about my little oddity! I will fix my plate but only eat one thing at a time until it is all the way gone before moving to the next item. If I have a meat and two vegetables, I usually start with the vegetables and eat all of one, move to my meat and then eat the last vegetable. I'm weird, what can I say?

Hi Snow, hope all is well.
My friends and family bug me about 2 things. The first thing is the same as you ... I hate having food touch eachother, it drives me crazy. If the food has touched another part then I won't eat it. The second one is I will eat my food in sections. For example if I have a big supper at Thanksgiving I will eat all of the corn, then all of the potatos, then all of the turkey, etc. I hate it when things get all mixed up!

I never thought I did anything weird but apparently eating ketchup on tacos is weird to most people. I also like french dressing on my cottage cheese. I have no problem with my food touching though. I have to agree with you that bologna and potato chip sandwiches rock. They are really good with bread and butter pickles too.

When I have a roast dinner, I can't bear getting gravy on or anywhere near my Yorkshire Puddings, ewww makes them all soggy and tasteless. I have a weird concoction of protein muscle build feed when I return from the gym, I have half a tin of sweetcorn, a tin of tuna and grated cheese and loads of vinegar poured over, all mixed in together, yum!

Hmm I don't do much weird thing to do with my food:).
There is one way I eat pancake may sound weird for you. I like to eat pancake in walty way. I make it with onion, little cabbage, cilantro and little jhalapino pepper on it. It's tasty. I just like to eat salty food.

Well, here we go again, I am convinced we must be long lost sisters - I can't stand my food touching and my Mom has time and time again told me the old 'it all ends up in the same place'. Doesn't work for me though. If it's meant to be a separate food then I don't want it mixed with anything else.
I don't do the potato chip thing though so maybe we're just half sisters :)

I guess the food would need to appear appetising to you before you can eat it. I too cannot mix certain food before it goes into the mouth. However, I am not very particular about food touching each other. I do stack my food on a plate, and have them as fillings in between bread pieces. I make a big sandwich out of it.
I made a drink out of ice-cream. Instead of licking or biting it, I drink it.
For egg rolls, I flatten them and I used a spoon to eat the crispy crumbs.

When we were young my brother liked to put ketchup on two slices of white bread and call it a sandwich. I think that's up there with your bologna and potato chips. No I don't do anything weird but before someone pointed it out to me I used to eat all of one item on my plate before I went on to the next one - like all of my peas, then my potato, then the meat.

Well i like to eat food listening to music on my bed as i find it convenient and ia m used to it. Or sometimes i talk while eating food with family members if i would love to chat. Or sometimes i stand up and move arund in between eating food as i'd like to roam about. These are are some of the things i can think of which is not considered good eating manners while eating food. cheers.:)

Gee, did you ever consider getting one of those seperator plates like what they have for picnics. That might help. lol. I would say the only unusual thing I do is I like to dip my meat in the gravy. I always pour extra gravy on my late for dipping. I guess you could say I like to mix it up somewhat. Take care, Terry
