Did you stick to your diet on Memorial Day?

It is still Memorial Day as I am writing this, but soon it will be gone. So, I am asking this now. If you are on a diet, did you stick at all to your diet on Memorial Day, or are you right now sticking to your diet? How have you fared with the barbeques, potlucks, outings, parties, etc.? Been good? Been bad? How has it gone, or how did it go? There's always tomorrow to get back on track, so they all say, right? LOL Let's discuss diets and Memorial Day here!

Oh my goodness... I really 'hate' it when holidays come because of the possibility that it will totally ruin my diet.. LOL... I mean, even without the holiday feast, it is occasionally ruined.. LOL... It is definitely hard to stick to my diet when there are so much on the table at once.. I would say that I will keep it down on the amount... I will still try everything, but I'll get a hold of myself to take the food in small amounts.. And of course, the next day is going to be the worse because I would need to cancel out everything that I had the night before.. LOL... Nice topic, nonew2! =)

Will that be something like 10 hours of vigorous exercise at the gym, nonstop except to use the restroom, or 100 laps around an Olympic sized swimming pool, to cancel out what you have eaten? LOL I am kidding. I hope you know that. :=) I controlled myself somewhat well today, considering what I ate at some holiday lunches and dinners in the past. Still, it was WAY off my diet.

Thanks for calling it a nice topic. I thought it would be a bit off the beaten topic and discussion path. Oh, and by the way, you typo'ed my name. It's nonew3, not nonew2. That's ok, though. I'll forgive you this time. lol

Yeah, I know... It would be long, long days with huge temptations of eating yummy stuff, but I have to stick with the low-fat substances, fruits, and veggies... And of course, there will be no allowed excuses not to go to the gym anymore... LOL... So much for a one-day feast, eh? Maybe I should think about the long sufferings before I get all excited with the feast next holiday dinner... LOL... And, yeah, oops... Sorry for the name typo! LOL... I was usually pretty careful with names... But it might have been the tiramisu that preoccupied my head when I was typing your name... LOL... =p~~

Well,i'm not worry about my diet at al when it comes to party, because i eat healthy most of the day.Eventhough i always stick to my healthy diet but its always an exception for party and special occasion. It's ok to eat an unhealthy foods once in a while otherwise it's meaningless to your life if you insisted your healthy diet for your entire life. Each time i after i ate an healthy food i will balance up with taking supplement and juicing detoxification. It works perfect for me.
